Questions people ask before they join.
Is this a dating app for money?
It borrows the mechanics because they work: one profile at a time, a clear yes or no, and the person being approached decides. The profiles are businesses, the people swiping are certified investors, and the conversations are about funding.
Who can invest?
Professional investors, certified high net worth individuals and self-certified sophisticated investors, as defined in UK law. You sign the statement when you join; a person reviews it before you see anything. It lasts twelve months.
Who can list?
UK limited companies and LLPs raising £100,000 to £2,000,000 — equity, SEIS/EIS, loan notes or buy-outs. A person reviews every listing before it goes live.
What does it cost?
Investors: nothing. Founders: free to draft, £29 a month once your listing is live — which includes the business plan, pitch deck and cashflow forecast tools. Cancel any time. Where a raise completes an introducer fee may be payable by the investor, disclosed on the listing.
Does money move through the platform?
No. Documents and money are handled between the investor and the company, off-platform, deal by deal. Find is where you find each other and agree to talk.
Can a founder message an investor first?
No. Investors make the first move; founders accept or decline. This is enforced in the system.
Can I see who passed on my listing?
No. You see interest, not rejections. Investors see their own history only.
Is my listing public?
No. Only certified, reviewed investors can see it. Search engines cannot. You can withdraw it at any time.
What is the approval reference on a listing?
Every listing is approved for promotion by an FCA-authorised approver before it opens. The reference shows it has been.
Is an indication binding?
No. It's a signal to start the paperwork. The terms are those in the documents you sign.
Who is behind it?
Founder Capital LLP, a UK private markets investment firm run by operators, operates Find; Chivvy Ltd builds the software. Founder Capital is not authorised by the FCA and does not arrange investments through Find; every promotion is approved by an authorised approver before it opens.
Is there an app?
Yes — install it from your phone's browser (Add to Home Screen) and it runs full-screen with notifications. Store versions follow.
