Find.
The rules

How it stays on the right side of the line.

Short, plain, and the same for everyone.

Who can invest

Only investors who have certified — and been reviewed — as one of: a professional investor; a certified high net worth individual; a self-certified sophisticated investor. These categories come from the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Financial Promotion) Order 2005. Retail investors cannot join, cannot see listings and will not be admitted. Making a false statement to gain access may have consequences for you as well as for us.

How a listing goes live

A founder drafts it; a person at Find reviews it; it is approved for promotion by an FCA-authorised approver; it goes live to certified investors with the approval reference shown. A listing can be sent back, closed or withdrawn at any time.

Investors make the first move

Founders cannot contact investors. Investors cannot be contacted by founders. An investor expresses interest; the founder accepts or declines; only then does a conversation open. This is enforced in the system, not just the guidance.

What the platform does not do

  • It does not hold or move money.
  • It does not arrange, negotiate or execute any deal. Documents are agreed and signed between the investor and the company, off-platform.
  • It does not give advice. Nothing on Find is a recommendation.
  • Interest and indications are not commitments. The terms are those in the documents you sign.

Who operates it

Find Investment is operated by Founder Capital LLP, a UK private markets investment firm; the software is built by Chivvy Ltd. Founder Capital is not authorised by the FCA and does not arrange, advise on or execute investments through Find. Every financial promotion shown on the platform is approved by an FCA-authorised approver before it opens, and carries that approval reference. Where a listing is one of Founder Capital’s own vehicles, or where any fee would be payable to the operator on completion, the listing says so.

Data

Certifications, listings, interest and messages are stored in the UK. Founder Capital staff can see conversations as operator. See the privacy notice.
